Fewer Foreclosures in Eastern Idaho's Housing Market
A glimpse of good news in the midst of these uncertain economic times, fewer foreclosures in eastern Idaho's housing market.
Nationally, about 45% of all home sales are foreclosures or short sales, according to the National Association of Realtors.
However, local brokers say in the last two months those types of sales in the Upper Snake River Valley added up close to 17%.
That's nearly two-thirds less than the national rate.
